State of the art training

First time in a van that size and I'll admit I was nervous. Two weeks with someone alongside me, proper training on the routes, and dispatch on the other end of the phone if anything went wrong. Nobody threw me in at the deep end.

Work life balance

Eleven o'clock start suits me down to the ground. I get the kids to school, get a run in, and I'm still home for nine. Everyone assumes delivery work means dawn starts — this one doesn't.

FAQ

Before you Apply

From licence requirements to your first week on road, here's what you need to know about driving with us.

From packing lists to trail difficulty, here's everything you need to feel prepared for your hike.

Do I need delivery experience?

No. Most of our drivers started with none. If you hold a full Manual licence and you're comfortable on the road, we'll teach you the rest — you'll spend your first days shadowing an experienced driver before going out on your own route.

What licence and checks do I need?

A full UK or EU manual driving licence held for at least 12 months, with no more than 6 penalty points. You'll also need the right to work in the UK and to pass a standard background check

What are the hours and what does a shift look like?

Routes run from our Bathgate depot, typically starting around 11am and most drivers finishing around 8pm. You'll load your van at the depot, then deliver a pre-planned route across Alloa, Stirling and the surrounding towns — around 150 stops a day.

What's the pay, and is a van provided?

136.70 Day rate for a 9hour Route, paid weekly 2 weeks in arrears. The van, fuel, insurance, uniform and delivery device are all supplied — you turn up, we sort the rest.

Are you actually hiring right now?

We've been running out of Bathgate for five years and deliver over 5,000 parcels a day, so we're recruiting most of the year. Send us your details and we'll let you know what's open — if there's nothing today, we'll keep you on file for the next intake.
